Hwy 96 Corridor Study – Study Recommendations and Open House 3
Thank you all for your engagement in the Highway 96 Corridor Study! We wanted to let you all know that recommendations for the Study have been posted to the project webpage as part of our third and final Open House. As this is the last engagement event for this study – primarily informing the public on recommendations – we decided to post the recommendations ahead of the in-person event. An in-person open house will be held on Monday May 4th from 4-6:00 pm at Crosswinds Community Church (9125 Newgate Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082)
Urgent Notice From the Mayor
Notice to Dellwood Residents: On Tuesday afternoon, September 2, 2025, the City was notified via email from Washington County that a Level 3 Sex Offender would be moving to Dellwood on September 12, 2025. This was the first notice that the City received of this situation.
Public Notification on Level 3 Sex Offender
In accordance with Minnesota Statute 244.052 and .253D, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is releasing information regarding Christian Wille, a Level 3 registrant subject to public notification. Mr. Wille will be relocating to the vicinity of Dellwood Avenue and Peninsula Road, Dellwood, MN 55110.
Spring weight restrictions for county roads go into effect March 3rd
Spring weight restrictions will go into effect on Washington County roads at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025. Restrictions will be in effect for eight weeks, unless extraordinary conditions require extending them.
Trail Advisory Opportunity
A regional pedestrian and bicycle trail network around White Bear Lake has been proposed. The City is seeking input from Dellwood residents as to possible trail route and construction configuration. Â Residents interested in participating in this discussion as a member of a select advisory committee, consisting of two council members and a number of interested residents to be determined.
