City Hall has received a number of inquiries with questions about the city’s road contractor doing work on private driveways.  Our road contractor appreciates the interest in private driveway work, but regretfully is not able to accommodate these additional projects.  If you have interest in work being done on your private driveway, we ask that you find an alternative company to assist.

Dear Resident:

As noted in the Mayor’s update this spring, the City of Dellwood is undertaking a major construction project this summer to improve many of the streets in Dellwood as shown on the attached map. The City Council has awarded a contract to Park Construction and we anticipate work starting in the coming weeks.

The goal of this project is to replace the pavement system for the roads many of which are over 50 years old. Generally, the scope will include grinding of the existing pavement and underlying gravel base to create a new base prior to paving two new layers of asphalt. While the project is primarily a pavement replacement project, culverts located beneath the street will be replaced prior to paving. The boulevard area adjacent to the street may be disturbed as part of this work. The construction will result in periodic closures to the affected streets. Please follow any posted detours, use caution when navigating construction areas and yield to construction equipment when navigating within the work zone.
