Absentee Voting Information

In Minnesota, you can vote early with an absentee ballot starting 46 days before Election Day. You can request an absentee ballot online for federal, state, and county elections. Candidate Filing

The City of Dellwood has two City Council seats and a Mayoral election for this voting season. The candidate filing period runs from Tuesday, July 30, 2024 – Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Voting Eligibility

To be eligible to vote in Minnesota you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old on Election Day
  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Have resided in Minnesota for 20 days immediately preceding Election Day
  • Have any felony conviction record discharged, expired or completed
  • Not be under court-ordered guardianship where a court has revoked your voting rights
  • Not have been ruled legally incompetent by a court of law

Registering to Vote

For information on voter registration please check the Secretary of State website.  If you have voted previously in Dellwood during the past 4 years, you are already registered to vote, however, if you have moved since you last voted, you will need to update your registration.
