Wake Boarding and Shoreline Management on White Bear Lake

The East-Metro Water Resource Education Program & Lower St. Croix Watershed Partnership compiled this info package to share current information and recommendations related to wake sports, based on research conducted by the University of Minnesota St. Anthony Falls Lab (SAFL). Also included in the package is a map of your lake that shows potentially suitable areas for wake boating that are at least 500 ft from the shore, 20 ft deep, and 50 contiguous acres in size.

City Naturalist Appointed

The City of Dellwood is excited to introduce Lisa Cortes, a Minnesota Master Naturalist, who was recently appointed as the new naturalist for the city.  Lisa will be coordinating with the city on nature related projects, and will also be starting to publish periodic newsletters (Dellwood Nature Notes) which will contain nature related content pertinent to this geographic region as well as the time of year.
