Hwy 96 Corridor Study – Study Recommendations and Open House 3

Hwy 96 City and Township Partners,

Thank you all for your engagement in the Highway 96 Corridor Study! We wanted to let you all know that recommendations for the Study have been posted to the project webpage as part of our third and final Open House. As this is the last engagement event for this study – primarily informing the public on recommendations – we decided to post the recommendations ahead of the in-person event.

An in-person open house will be held on Monday May 4th from 4-6:00 pm at Crosswinds Community Church (9125 Newgate Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082)

To promote the engagement opportunity, an eblast and social media post went out this morning and we will be sending out postcards today or early next week. Please consider reposting the social media post to promote the online and in-person engagement opportunity.

Following the Open House we will work to document the study process and recommendations in a study report.

Have a great weekend!
Maddie

Notice – Trail Advisory Opportunity

UPDATED DEADLINE:
Due to strong response requests to serve on this committee, submissions will close end of business day, Friday, November 29th.

As you may have heard, a regional pedestrian and bicycle trail network around White Bear Lake has been proposed, and grant funding to build the trail through Dellwood has been allocated by the State of MN.  The City is seeking input from Dellwood residents as to possible trail route and construction configuration.  Residents interested in participating in this discussion as a member of a select advisory committee, consisting of two council members and a number of interested residents to be determined, should submit a statement of interest by email to Cityhall@Dellwood.us.

Please include your name, address and willingness to be listed as a committee member for consideration.  Submissions should be made by December 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM.  Mayor Mike McGill will appoint committee members from the pool of interested residents, and further details will be forwarded to those appointed.
